LOCATION

We are located in the Bocas del Toro province of the Republic of Panamá. Our hotel can be found on Isla Carenero, just in front of Isla Colón, the main island of the archipelago (home to the Airport, Ferry Dock, as well as landing for boats from the mainland, Almirante & Changuinola. 'Bocas Town' is less than a two minute boat ride away.

Our hotel is one of very few with rooms right on the beach. Our location is perfect...less than two minutes by boat from Bocas town and its shops, restaurants, and nightlife. However, we're just far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet.

Once you arrive on Isla Colon, take a taxi or walk to Jampan Water Taxi (on Calle Segunda, next to the Iguana Bar). Tell them you'd like to go to the Hotel Doña Mara. As simple as that.

By air:
You can buy your domestic airline ticket directly from us for travel with AIR PANAMÁ. There are several daily flights between Panama City and Bocas. Once you share your itinerary and travel plans with us, we can offer you the best available flight. These tickets can be purchased using your Visa or Mastercard.
From the airport, take a taxi to Jampan Water Taxi (on Calle Segunda, next to the Iguana Bar. Tell them you'd like to go to the Hotel Doña Mara. As simple as that.
There are also several weekly flights between San José, Costa Rica and Bocas del Toro.
